It popped up in a thread on lit Hub

His books – Bender and The Art of Recklessness

Are stored in the dresser on the island

I try to refrain from typing his name

And entering a search on google

There’s no regret

He was never going to live forever

I’m glad that I read some of his poems

They are well worth reading
